Savings Accounts

Share Savings Accounts - Deposits and withdrawals may be made at any time and in any amount. Dividends are paid quarterly in March, June, September and December and are computed on the average daily balance in the account.

Vacation Club - Deposits may be made at any time and in any amount. Withdrawals may not be made. Dividends are paid annually on April 30 on the average daily balance. The Club year runs from May 1 through April 30.

Christmas Club - Deposits may be made at any time and in any amount. Withdrawals may not be made. Christmas Club funds are paid out October 31 each year, and dividends are computed on the average daily balance. The Club runs from November 1 through October 31.

Checking Accounts

No monthly service fees, no per item fees and no minimum balance requirements. A monthly dividend is paid on a $1,000 daily balance on business and personal accounts.

cuCheck/ATM Cards

Use the cuCheck Card to purchase goods and services as if you were writing a check. Your purchases are automatically deducted from your checking account. There's no interest charged on purchases. Or use it like an ATM Card at any participating network ATM, as well as thousands of other locations around the world. Get instant cash, transfer funds, make deposits.

Certificates of Deposit

Certificates allow members to lock in a higher dividend rate for a set term length, on money that they do no need immediate access to. Safe and secure, terms range from as little as 6 months, up to 60 months.

$1,000 minimum to open ($500 minimum for PeeWee Club). Dividend checks may be mailed or transferred to a designated account. Certificates can be used as collateral to secure a lower loan rate.

The Funeral Service Credit Union Visa card has a new security product for the online (Internet) shopper that may impact you as a cardholder. If you currently have a Funeral Service Credit Union Visa card, Verified by Visa is a new service that allows you to add a personal password. When you make purchases at participating online merchants, you can now validate your identity by entering your password in a special Verified by Visa window. This gives you added safety and reassurance that only you can use your Visa card online. Now you can create a password that protects you when you buy online. So what's your password? Create it at www.visa.com/verified.

By using the Verified by Visa password program, you will also be helping to protect the credit union and merchants against losses. If you use the program to prove your card number is authentic, merchants are no longer responsible if the purchase turns out to be unauthorized by the cardholder and is fraudulent. These losses will eventually pass to the credit union. Previously, fraud losses not authorized by the cardholder were charged back to the merchant, but in the future may become credit union losses.
